The planning mainly include finding out what learners need to learn to achieve the desired outcome. The second step include development of content and finding out the methods to deliver it. It may include the selection of resources and the way to deliver it such as lecture, discussion, project work, simulation, etc. Third step include the implementation of the planned work i.e. delivering content. While delivering the content it is good to be tested in a small group to find out its effectiveness before delivering in a large group. The last step include the evaluation, which means to know whether the students learned what they need to learn as per the objective. It can be done through various process such as assessment, test, verbal questioning, etc. If any changes is needed then the curriculum is refined to enhance the learning outcome.

Hence, curriculum development process is the cyclical process to deliver the intended knowledge to the students in the most effective method possible.
